Provide local transport
We are a Good Neighbours community transport scheme for Cranleigh residents, who would otherwise have difficulty attending necessary medical appointments. Volunteers use their own cars to transport clients to hospitals and doctor's surgeries around the Cranleigh area.

VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES

During the pandemic forced delay of the past two years, some of our volunteers have retired. To ensure an ongoing full service, we need new people.
The roles are
​
Duty Officers who answer phone requests and arrange transport for our clients, by contacting our volunteer drivers. The clients call between 10am and 12 noon on weekdays.
​
Drivers who drive clients to medical appointments at clinics, surgeries or hospitals. we operate on the basis of 'when and if available' for all our drivers. Mileage costs are reimbursed.
​
For all roles, we are happy to accept as much or as little time as you want to offer.
